本隧道进、出口均处于浅埋地段,进口进洞为Ⅲ类围岩,采用Ⅱ式Ⅲ类明洞衬砌。隧道出口围岩破碎、浅埋,采用Ⅳ式Ⅲ类明洞衬砌。整条隧道普遍埋深较浅,且离既有线很近(最近处只有20m),施工中会互相影响。隧道岩性为灰或深灰色石灰岩。但根据设计图样,隧道的埋深及多处断层的出现,隧道会受地表水影响较大,岩溶发育。因此施工中要做好防排水及处理溶洞的准备。本隧道根据围岩地质状况的不同,分别设计成整体式衬砌和减薄式衬砌两种式,其中包括DⅡK199+800~890 锚段和DⅡK201+050~070 段的特殊衬砌。除DⅡK201+070~770 段采用C20 耐腐蚀混凝土外,均采用普通混凝土。
